2019 Orange Widows Service held in East Belfast

Concluding what has been a busy month of parades in East Belfast hosting the Apprentice Boys on Easter Monday and the Junior Orange Order on Easter Tuesday the last Sunday in April saw the City of Belfast Loyal Orange Widows Fund hold its annual Church parade in East Belfast. The Orange Widows Fund has a service every last Sunday in April to remember the Widows and Orphans of deceased brethren and to collect money to provide assistance to those who need it.  The 2019 service was held in St Patrick’s church on the Newtownards Road with Pride of the Raven Flute Band leading the East Belfast District on parade. Various Belfast Orange Districts also paraded to the venue.
